Major General Sir Christopher Airy, former private secretary to King Charles and Princess Diana, passed away at 91, shortly after his wife’s death. After a distinguished 35-year military career, he briefly served as private secretary and treasurer to the Prince of Wales in 1990 before resigning. He was honored with a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in 1989 for his dedicated service.
