Billy’s First Day Turns Into a Deadly Game
On his first day working at a store, 70-year-old Billy noticed a manager overcharging a visually impaired customer for a toy. Billy corrected him, only to be fired on the spot. Desperate for money to pay for his wife’s surgery, he was devastated—until the next day, when a mysterious envelope with $70,000 and an anonymous note promised more if he met someone in the park at midnight.
At the park, Billy was kidnapped and taken to a locked facility with nine other strangers. A voice over a speaker announced they were contestants in a high-stakes survival game, orchestrated by the ultra-rich. In the first task, they had to unlock themselves using hundreds of keys in ten minutes. Billy freed himself and helped others, but one woman was executed when time ran out.
Realizing the horror, Billy plotted an escape. He faked a restroom visit, knocked out a guard, stole his uniform, and snuck into a control room. There, he called the police just before being caught by one of the game’s masterminds—the same man who had faked needing help at the store.
The police, already on the line, raided the facility and rescued the captives. Days later, as Billy waited outside the hospital, the officer returned with good news: the criminals were caught, and Billy’s bravery would be rewarded. His wife’s surgery would be fully covered.
