After landing in Chicago, Captain Edward Blair was surprised to find a passenger who looked just like him—his long-lost twin brother, Adam. They hadn’t seen each other since Edward was adopted at age eight, leaving Adam behind in an orphanage. Adam had always resented Edward for abandoning him and their mother, who returned a year later but could never find Edward again.
Adam took Edward to meet their ailing mother, Annie, who was overjoyed to see her sons reunited. Though their meeting was emotional, Edward had to leave the same night for a job in France. Annie was heartbroken, and Adam accused Edward of showing up just to ease his conscience.
Days later, Edward returned—this time to stay. He had turned down the job abroad and moved into the house across from his mother and brother. With time, he rebuilt his relationship with both. Edward helped renovate Adam’s home and took care of Annie, allowing Adam to focus on his own life. The family was finally whole again, sharing meals, memories, and healing together.
