Dylan’s life revolved around his daughter, April. She wasn’t the most extraordinary, but to him, she was everything. Dylan had always been known as a devoted father, strapping April to his chest when grocery shopping, and everyone admired the single dad at the park. Over the years, nothing changed, except that April grew up, and Dylan continued to give her the best of everything.
One Sunday morning, while making April’s breakfast, Dylan was surprised by a knock on the door. It was his older brother, Vincent, back from prison. Dylan was wary of his brother’s intentions, especially since Vincent had no part in April’s life. After a heated exchange, Vincent insisted on meeting April, and Dylan reluctantly agreed, only asking that Vincent leave afterward and not disrupt their lives.
When April met Vincent, she was surprised and curious about the man who was her biological father, but Dylan had always raised her. However, Vincent couldn’t hold back and told April the truth—he was her real dad. Dylan, furious, confronted Vincent, but April, shocked and confused, demanded to know the full truth.
Dylan explained everything, and despite the tension, April handled the situation maturely. She chose to continue living with Dylan while allowing Vincent to visit occasionally. However, Dylan grew anxious as Vincent and April became closer, leading to a heated argument that caused April to run away. Tragically, she was hit by a car and rushed to the hospital.
In the hospital, Vincent donated blood to save April’s life, and the brothers reconciled. They both realized their mistakes and promised never to hurt April again. When April woke up, she reassured both men, saying nothing had changed—she loved them both. The brothers, now at peace, promised to let April decide her future, with Vincent becoming part of their lives, not as a rival but as family.
