Matthew Fairman asked his mother Beatrice if he and his new wife, Rita, could move into her large home after their wedding. Beatrice, feeling lonely and fond of Rita, agreed. What started as a happy living arrangement soon turned into a nightmare when Matthew disappeared without a trace, and Rita revealed her cruel side, kicking Beatrice out of her own home.
Initially, things went smoothly, with Beatrice cooking while Matthew and Rita worked. However, when Matthew’s job required him to travel for work, the two women grew close, keeping in touch through daily calls. But after a while, Matthew’s communication became sparse, and one day he stopped calling altogether. They discovered he had never boarded his flight home, and no one knew where he was.
As the months passed, Rita became increasingly angry and took it out on Beatrice. Eventually, Rita started bringing men home and even kicked Beatrice into the garage to make space for her boyfriend. Beatrice, devastated by both her son’s disappearance and Rita’s mistreatment, endured her harsh treatment until one day, Matthew returned, revealing he had been in a hospital recovering from an accident.
Furious at Rita’s behavior, Matthew confronted her, demanded she leave, and vowed to make it right with his mother. Beatrice was overjoyed to have her son back, and despite the hardships, the reunion brought her the relief she had longed for.
