Anne and John’s gender reveal party was meant to be a joyful celebration. Surrounded by friends and family, Anne popped the balloon—only for white confetti and a mysterious slip of paper to fall out.
Her heart sank as she read the chilling message in John’s handwriting: “I am infertile.”
In front of stunned guests, John pulled out test results and accused Anne of cheating. He declared the baby wasn’t his and ended the party in rage. Anne was devastated.
Julie, Anne’s best friend, followed John to confront him. She demanded answers, but John coldly admitted his motive: money. He planned to divorce Anne and protect his assets, regardless of the truth.
Julie, furious and heartbroken, realized the man she once trusted had orchestrated everything.
Later, Anne begged John’s wealthy parents to see reason, but they sided with their son—until Julie spoke up, exposing the truth.
“John is the father,” she revealed. “I’m pregnant too—by him.”
Gasps filled the room. John denied it, but the damage was done.
His parents, ashamed and betrayed, turned on him. Mrs. Campbell told him to leave. Mr. Campbell backed her. John’s lies had cost him everything.
Anne, though shaken, found strength in the chaos. “I forgive you,” she told his parents. “But Julie needs your support too.”
The Campbells embraced both women.
Finally, Anne placed a hand on her belly and smiled through tears.
“We’re having a boy.”
In the wreckage of betrayal, new bonds were born—and with them, hope.
