In an Anglican church

In an Anglican church, every service kicks off with a classic greeting. The priest says, “The Lord be with you,” and the congregation traditionally replies, “And with thy spirit.”

But these days, with all the modern updates, it’s changed to the priest saying, “The Lord be with you,” and everyone answers, “And also with you.”

One Sunday, a visiting bishop showed up at a church famous for its ancient, finicky sound system. He tapped the microphone a few times and announced, “There’s something wrong with this microphone.”

Without skipping a beat, the entire congregation replied in perfect unison:
“And also with you.”

Talk about having the liturgy down to a hilarious science!
