18-year-old Chris, a seasoned market worker, often saw street animals, but Ollie, a well-groomed Shiba Inu, stood out. One day, Chris noticed Ollie outside a closed bike shop, staring at the windows. His coworkers mentioned the dog belonged to the owner, who hadn’t shown up in weeks.
Chris, fond of dogs, felt bad for Ollie, who seemed abandoned. He began offering Ollie sandwiches at lunch, and the dog eagerly took them, running off each time without eating. Curious and concerned, Chris wondered if Ollie was feeding puppies, but his behavior didn’t add up. As the days passed, Ollie’s coat grew dull, and Chris grew more worried.
One day, after lunch, Chris decided to follow Ollie and see where he was taking the food. To his surprise, Ollie led him to an abandoned house, where Chris discovered that Ollie was feeding a trapped German Shepherd inside. The house appeared abandoned, and Chris realized the Shepherd had been locked in there, relying on Ollie for food.
Chris called the police, and they arrived to rescue the Shepherd. They discovered that the bike shop owner had died weeks earlier, leaving the dogs behind. Shocked and upset, Chris decided to adopt both dogs, despite his girlfriend Mila’s reluctance.
At first, Mila was upset, but Ollie’s affectionate gesture won her over, and eventually, she agreed to adopt both dogs. The couple, now dog parents, were happier than ever, especially when Max, the German Shepherd, returned from the vet.
