A priest offered a nun a lift

A priest offered a nun a ride. As she climbed into the car and crossed her legs, her gown shifted a bit, giving the priest a quick peek at her leg. He almost drove off the road but managed to steer back on track. As he regained control, his hand seemed to “accidentally” drift up her leg. Calmly, the nun said, “Father, remember Psalm 129?”

The priest quickly pulled his hand away, but, well, temptation struck again. His hand slid back up her leg. The nun repeated, “Father, Psalm 129?”

Flustered, the priest muttered, “I’m sorry, Sister… the flesh is weak.” They arrived at the convent, and the nun got out without a word. The priest, still confused and curious, rushed to his Bible when he got back to the church. He flipped to Psalm 129 and read, “Go forth and seek; further up, you will find glory.”

Moral of the story: Always read your scriptures—you might miss out on a blessing if you’re not paying attention!
