My husband invited his friend Alex to stay with us without asking me first. What was meant to be a short-term arrangement quickly became a nightmare. The house was a mess, with dirty dishes, beer bottles, and piles of laundry everywhere. Jake and Alex spent their days gaming and drinking, while I was left to clean up after them.

Things improved briefly, but the mess crept back, and I reached my breaking point. I left for the weekend to stay with a friend, and Jake called me, begging for me to return. When I came back, the house was spotless, and Alex had moved out. Jake apologized, and we both learned the importance of teamwork and communication in our relationship. The experience brought us closer, and we faced the future stronger than before.
