After a decade of carrying the weight of her marriage alone, one woman finally rises from the ashes of betrayal.
She met Danny in college, drawn to his charm and smile despite his lack of money. Coming from a privileged background, she swore she wouldn’t rely on her family’s wealth, so she built her own business from scratch. But Danny barely contributed. His excuse: “You make more, so it makes sense for you to handle it.”
When she got pregnant with Osen, Danny seemed excited, but once the baby came, she was left to handle it all—the diapers, sleepless nights, hospital bills. Then, when she got pregnant again, his response shocked her: “I need a break from work. I’m burned out.”
Danny became more distant, disappearing frequently to play video games, while she juggled running a business, caring for the house, raising Osen, and carrying another child. The only people who helped were her dad and Amanda, her best friend since childhood. Amanda was a constant support, while her mom dismissed her frustrations, telling her she was just being sensitive.
Little did she know, betrayal was coming from the last place she expected.
