Mila prepared breakfast, hoping to reconnect with her distant husband, Richard. But he barely looked up from his phone, muttering distractedly. When his phone flashed with a message from a woman named Carol, Mila’s suspicions grew.
Richard claimed he had a business trip that weekend, but Mila sensed something was wrong. Later, while working as a real estate agent, Mila met her new client — Carol — who revealed she was spending a romantic weekend with a “special man.”
Mila quickly pieced it together: Richard was cheating. Hiding her emotions, she completed the rental, pocketed a spare key, and planned her next move.
That night, Mila returned to the apartment with Carol’s furious boyfriend. They caught Richard and Carol in bed. Richard begged for forgiveness, but Mila remained cold. Calmly, she reminded him of their marriage contract: infidelity meant he owed her a large settlement.
